Day 3, Part Deux: OMG You Guys!!!
When I got back from my lunch break today, there was an envelope on my desk with my name on it. In it was a card from all of my work friends with a $75 Visa gift card tucked inside, and messages from all of them wishing me luck and expressing their support and excitement for me. It was the sweetest thing ever, I totally cried.

That is the sweetest thing I've ever heard. I haven't told anyone at work about my band because I didn't want to be asked every day "so how much weight have lost?" or "should you be eating that?" You're so lucky to have such nice co-workers!
ReplyDeleteThat's a good point...I'm sure I'll get those kinds of questions, and at the time they'll totally annoy me. But I'm a complete spaz and any time I'm excited about something, I can't resist telling every single one of my buddies :)
